Approach

Every session is shaped to your body that day, blending traditional technique with focused, integrative work.

No two visits are the same, because no two days are. Cat reads what she finds under her hands and works from there, so the session follows your body rather than a script.

Why massage

You were built to move. Most of us now spend the day sitting still.

Eight hours in a chair, the rest bent over a phone. It shows up in your neck, your back, your breath, and a nervous system that never fully stands down. Bodywork is one of the clearest ways to pay that debt back.

Read the whole case for it →

The desk & the spine

A body held in one seated shape for hours grows tight in some places, weak in others. Unwinding that is part of what bodywork is for.

The phone & the neck

Every dropped head asks the neck and upper back to hold on. Focused work gives them a chance to finally let go.

The always-on system

We evolved to feel stress in bursts, then settle. Skilled touch tells the body it is safe to stand down and actually rest.

The practitioner

Cat Garcia, CMT

Cat Garcia has spent nearly two decades learning what hands can do. Her work draws on Filipino hilot and Hawaiian lomi lomi, two lineages that treat the body as a whole system rather than a set of parts. She reads what she finds under her hands and works from there, which is where the intuitive part of intuitive, integrative, intentional begins.

She is also a rock climber, a trail runner, and a strength athlete, so she knows what it feels like to ask a lot of a body and to help it recover. That perspective shapes how she works with you. Not to fix you, but to keep you moving, whether you train hard or simply carry the everyday load of a modern life.

How it works

Three easy steps, and the table comes to you.

1

Book

Pick a time on the calendar. A card holds your appointment, nothing more.

2

Prepare

Fill out a short intake form and clear a ten by ten foot space.

3

Relax

Fresh sheets, a heated table, hot towels, and organic cream, all brought to you.

Everything is brought and set up for you. All you provide is the space and the time to rest.
